The vision behind the initiative
The vision behind our trip is to share with the Israeli audience the extraordinary and exemplary experience of this country: How Rwanda emerged from the ashes of Genocide to a beautiful, clean and safe place, through a unique process of reconciliation and peace-building in the community. Former and first ambassador of Israel to Rwanda will join us as a guest lecturer and will explain to us all about the "Secrets of Rwanda".
Unique visit
to Rwanda
The visit to Rwanda will follow the country's history, from the Kingdom period since the 15th century, through the Colonialism period toward the promised future. We shall visit the Memorial Sites of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, and learn about the Liberation Trail, and Reconciliation Village. We shall learn and experience the Rwandan culture, art and heritage and explain how Home-Grown Solutions, such as the Gacaca, Girinka, Imihigo, Umuganda and Kwita Izina, which were used during the Kingdom are now being used to rebuild the country.
